Since day one, Topmade has built products to last and was “built to last” as a company. Our philosophy has always been to build on our “in-house” capability. This has given us great strength and capabilities, including a 30,000 square foot facility in Calgary, which is capable of producing, repairing, and installing almost any kind of signage efficiently and professionally.

Founded in 1979, Topmade has produced thousands of signs all over southern Alberta. There is virtually no commercial street around you where you will not see our workmanship – well-known landmarks, airports, hospitals, retail stores, LRT stations – we have done all kinds of jobs in every size, shape, and place.

Over the years, we have worked very hard to keep good staff. Our 10 key department heads have been with us for over 10 years each.  We also have many staff who have been with us well over 20 years.

With such a longstanding employee base, we are a lot like a big family. The Topmade team also enjoys our corporate-sponsored sport of dragon boating, which an excellent team sport, considering that 20 – 22 people in a boat must paddle in perfect synchronization! Our Topmade Dragon Boat Club teams have over 200 members, have won numerous medals, and are very well known within the sport in Canada.

Put simply, at Topmade we work hard and we play hard. We enjoy what we do, and we are very happy to assist you with your signage requirements using the latest manufacturing processes and the most seasoned personnel.
